Tire pressure, which is why most people are here
Vehicle placards outside North America usually list cold tire pressure in kPa or bar, while American gauges and garage compressors read in psi. That mismatch is the reason this conversion comes up so often, and it is why the presets above cover the 200 to 300 kPa band rather than a neat round series.
Cold means before driving. Tires warm as you drive and the pressure rises with them, typically by a few psi, so a reading taken after a motorway run will be higher than the placard figure. Check when the car has been standing.
Use the placard in your own driver-side door jamb or the owner's manual for the correct pressure. It varies by vehicle, trim, tire size and load, so no general chart can give you the right number.

What is 240 kPa in psi?
240 kPa is 34.81 psi, or 2.40 bar. That is a common cold tire pressure on European vehicle placards.
What is 30 to 35 psi in kPa?
30 psi is 207 kPa and 35 psi is 241 kPa, which covers the usual passenger-car range. One psi is 6.894757 kPa. Use the figure on your vehicle placard rather than the maximum moulded into the tire sidewall.
What is 1 kPa in psi?
One kilopascal is 0.1450377 psi. Put the other way, one psi is 6.8947573 kPa.
Should I use the pressure on the tire sidewall?
