Accuracy disclaimer

The converters on this site are provided for general reference. Every effort is made to source conversion factors from authoritative references and to state whether each factor is exact or rounded, but no guarantee is given that any result is fit for a particular purpose.

Verify any figure that matters against a manufacturer specification, the applicable engineering standard, or a qualified professional before relying on it. This applies with particular force to:

• Fastener torque specifications. Use the figure in your vehicle or equipment service manual, not a general conversion chart.
• Tire pressures. Use the placard on your vehicle or the owner's manual, not the tire sidewall maximum and not a chart.
• Medication and dosing. This site does not provide dosing conversions and must not be used for that purpose. Speak to a pharmacist or prescriber.
• Structural and engineering calculations. Converted values inherit the precision of their inputs and are not a substitute for engineering judgement.

Acceptable use

You may use these tools freely for personal and commercial purposes. Please do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at a volume that affects availability for others, or present its content as your own work.

Content and intellectual property

The text, layout and code of this site are the work of Ready Utilities. Conversion factors themselves are facts and are not owned by anyone; they are cited to their published sources so you can verify them independently.

Advertising and affiliate disclosure

No advertising network and no affiliate links are active on this site as of the date above. Both are planned.

When advertising is added, ad units will be clearly labelled as advertising and visually separated from site content, navigation and calculator results. If affiliate links are ever used, a clear disclosure will appear above the content containing them, not buried in a footer, and the presence of a commercial relationship will never change what a converter calculates.
